Okay, first off, I want a new layout. Badly. But hey, such is life.
Second off, Classes have begun and life is...picking up pace. Today will be the first day I likely WILL NOT have a nap around 3 pm. because I'm at work and it's 2:30 so blegh. I like my naps. =/ Working again tomorrow as well, but I have hit SUCCESS in that I have found the right people to know to ACTUALLY GET invites to things via facebook. So, bands this weekend, wahoo! I'm excited. My roomie's going with me on Saturday, she has to work friday. Her job is evil and makes her work too much. Not kidding. Someone go beat some sense into the people at the bookstore? They need it. *nod*
AND. Tonight from 6-close, half price at French Quarter with a student ID. SO there. Dragging Jamie. Kim's working. [see? E-V-I-L.] Well, right now I'M working, but I get off at 6, and I'm really just sitting here more so than anything else. Typing.
Auditions for the fall shows were last night. The line up [in order] is as follows: A Raisen in the Sun, King Stag, and Hamlet A La Comedia. I auditioned for King Stag, opted out on Hamlet because they start rehearsals and training NEXT WEEK and are the last to open and I'm just not quite that...dedicated. XD Applied to SM/ASM [ASM would be better because I have a stupid fucking NIGHT CLASS every other week] for Raisen in the Sun because, well, no white female characters, rofl. I was a total spazz case while there. It was fun. I read with Chris, and that was pretty amusing, he was the Evil Villian and I was his daughter. XD I think I did pretty well, no call-back though. *shrug* That would mean missing HALF PRICE FOOD tonight anyhow. So it's all groovy.
First Equestrian Team meeting is SUNDAY AT 8 in the union, we had our officer's meeting at Ryan's the other night. Yum. It looks like we're starting the year off pretty much stress-free. But then, I'm totally oblivious about drama on the team, so I could be totally wrong without any effort at all. Right. No idea where I'm going with this train of thought.
Yesterday was Bob/Will's birthday. I ended up talking/texting with him...for a long time. AND IT WAS INSANE. And I might talk about this later, I might not. Let's just say...I was flailing and COMPLETELY unsure what to do. And mildly entertained. And. Flattered at points. Arg. It was weird. He is a very honest drunk.
Um, um. RPG-wise, I've been talked into another multi-fandom RPG. How I'm going to keep up, I do not know, but I -LOVE- the premise of this, and I -will- ramble on it once it's been well and started and all. BNF is still fun as hell, but the whole closed-apps and inactive characters and slot trading has been causing a helluva lot of issues. And I have a lot of logs to post. v__v Remus/K is my new crack!OTP, btw. XD That's some pretty awesome stuff, it is.
Okay. I am dying to read Death Note on account of ALL THE CHARACTERS WHO LOOK SO AWESOME. And it's downloaded and sitting on my desktop back in my dorm, I just have to read it. *__* <-- excited
AND my RPG icons are becoming BEAUTIFIED because the loverly, loverly Kimi has been making them. *__* I mean, seriously. She did the header for Remus's journal and it is -g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s-. I hope I spelled that right. It -looks- right, but that doesn't mean a thing.
...Guuuyyyssss. Sirius just dropped. So. Erk. I have to go see what was said and then form some sort of story, i think. XD I MIGHT NEED HELP. [edit] Checked. No story. Gotta invent one.
ohfuck, I still need to write for the fic exchange. *shoots self* TONIGHT. SOMEONE MAKE ME WRITE. I mean, it's easy and I know what I'm doing, I just have to -do it-
