HIBARIIIIII. A- totally and completely badass 100% of the time, man, but. BUT. This is like. Even more badass than could possibly be anticipated because his REACTIONS and his NOT CARING and NEVER BEING AFRAID and.

Schedule? Did he have this whole thing PLANNED? IT SORT OF SEEMS THAT WAY TO ME, OKAY. AND UGH. JUST. NEVER STOP BEING SO FREAKING COOL, HIBARI.

And that's not even TOUCHING on the awesome, awesome last few pages. Where he seems to be dead and then HIBIRD landing on his hand reaching out of the destruction. Just. Just PERFECT, okay? And then the flash of his Namimori badge and then the yawn and him just RELAXING THERE IN ALL HIS...HOWEVER OLD GLORY OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD

Yeah, the whole doujinshi, I had to get it. Even though Hibari's eyes are too wide and uke, he was like...exactly how I play him. (Or I thought.) Like Dino would stalk him out and be all nice and loving and he'd be like: "BITCH GET OFF HIM!!" But only after like...three seconds.

I WANT A BETTER QUALITY OF THE COLOR SCAN. The tattoo and the boots and RYOHEI.

I don't think the series deserves an 8 in terms of quality but I was rating it in terms of my enjoyment. And since this latest chapter sort of blew me away, it deserves a nine for now.

TOO RIGHT. And it's a fairly SOLID and GOO series, even if it isn't like, ZOMGFANTASTIC, so it's not like it's trying to make up for lost ground on quality too much, it's just damned entertaining.
