Omg. I'm doing this research-type-thing for my Lit class, right? Well, it can be on any topic we choose, so long as it's narrowed down and is some sort of value. So, what do I do? What does the Potterific-freak have up her sleeve for this one?
From Book to Movie: Is it Good or bad?
Detailing the various obstacles invloved in transfering a literary work to the 'Big Screen' including:
Decency of the screenplay vs the books
Does it make someone want to read the books?
Is this actually adding to the 'I'll wait for the movie' mentality?
How much vital information is lost?
Does it fall seriously short of expectations of fans of the book(s)?
-etc-

Sound good to yall? Sounds great to me, I'm researching MOVIES for Merlin's sake.

Damnit. Been reading too much fanfiction...

DUDE! I COULD WRITE ABOUT FANFICTION!
....but I'd have crap worth of sources from books. Damnit. *curses* But then, what I've got is pretty cool.

Other class stuff: I'm doing a monologue for FoA. It's from A Woman of No Importance by Oscar Wilde. Bloody hysterical, if anyone knows it...it's the 'Ideal Man' speech. And if you want to read it...comment and I'll LJ cut it in the next entry (yes, I typed it. It's an excellent memorization method, typing is...) But one of the sentences near the end is 91 words long. Without a single sodding grammatical error. The man was a crazy genious with his writing. An absolute genious, but a bit barmy.

I adore it.
