AUDITIONS!
Aug. 16th, 2005 11:20 pmAnd I'm like, whoa. They were so fun!
First off, there's Dream (Midsummer Night's Dream) which is going to be staged in the 60's. COOL. With original music composed for it, making it like a rock opera. Anyone else thinking of that 90's movie...Get Over It? (I think that's what it's called at least) We told jokes and sang and read bits. I read one of Hermia's bits where she's talking about being short. HELLO! I'm short. Perfect. Also read some for Puck! Who they apparantly don't care about the gender of because the guys could read for Puck too. whooo!
Chris, Nathan, and a random blonde girl, all freshmen, were tormented to an older, wiser, and hyperer than hell Meg. Who's brain had degenerated.
Theeeeeen Jay, the stage manager asks if I -don't- get a part, if I'd be his ASM. Adn I'm like- HECK YES. So huzzah for that. And I'm running auditions tomorrow regardless because he has rto work.
I say he OWES ME now. Something. I dunno what. Lol.
Annnnnnd then. Steven and I take Greg and Kim to Walmart. And are crude the entire time.
It was brilliant fun. And I'm still hyper.
