themegaloo | haha, I'm back?

Spring break was a,slkhdlkasdjkjashdkjasdad awesome. I had a BLAST in Houston with my grandma and all. Too much fun. So don't want to go back to my REAL LIFE where I have to get up and go to classes and all, but that's life. I have many, many interesting stories, but I'm too lazy to type them all out here, so if you want to know them [and haven't been hearing them ni the short bursts I'd spend online in the middle of the night on occasion] ask me in IM and ye shall recieve.

Otttthhhhhherwise! I got back into Statesboro oh, YESTERDAY AFTERNOON and discovered, to my dismay, that my internet had died. AGAIN. You see, what it does is I live on campus and there's this stupid program we HAVE to install in order to connect to the network and get online and it basically makes sure you have like, an up-to-date anti-virus software.

Well. My dad fixes computers. It's what he does. So he like, goes through and checks out all the antivirus software and gives me what he thinks is the best. And GENERALLY, this is all well and good until those programs update or change slightly or something and SUDDENLY, this lovely little program I connect to the network with decides it doesn't recognize it as a viable antivirus program anymore.

Additionally, it is STUPIDLY HARD to make the damn thing actuall pop up and run and TELL YOU why its not working. I don't know why. It's just evil and I hate it and I am moving off campus next year LARGELY because it sucks.

I basically sold my soul to the devil today and downloaded the icky software they offer when they think you lack antivirus. SO MY INTERNET WORKS. And if this happens again I'll....okay, I dunno what I'll do but I am SICK of it.

Last night I fought with it and fought with it and had NO SUCCESS so in spirit of the holiday I forgot all my cares about it. Read: Went drinking. Holllly crap. Lots of fun but MAN. Yuck. Kinda forgot that bit about EATING FIRST. XD So I was NOT thinking about my computer again until like, 6 am when I woke up and started fiddling with it again to no avail. I went back to sleep. Got up, took a shower and then went out and did theatre stuff for a while [some amusing moments there with the people I was with last night] and then came back and fought with my computer again.

After the blood sacrifice and all, I am catching up with all the shit I've missed in my week-long absence and MAN, is it good to be back.
