I'm glad you're having fun. ^-^ It really is something un-repeatable, unfortunately. At least there's email and airplanes these days. When my mother went to study abroad for a year, she had to rely on regular snail mail. Now you can instantaneously update everyone on what's going on. Also - they may be from different countries, but that just gives you an excuse to visit them in those different countries. Now you won't have to pay for a hotel!
