Well, I am in the process of making journal public again. Lack of anything to do and I have no real reason to keep it locked. Plus, this way I might can do a minor-purge of flist and not feel guilty of depriving people of my lj.

Seriously, I cannot keep up reading everything! LOL.

I think I want to be a college prof. Sorry, that was random. But I really think that's what I'm going to do. Either theatre or literature.

Slight re-vamp on LJ layout. Was bored. I like it. XD Still tartan!!

The World Outside My Window

The world outside my window,
Is filled with greens and grays.
It's a world that with its sorrow,
Gives hope for happy days.

The trees are always reaching,
Despite the lack of sun.
So tall they touch horizon,
Just as the day is done.

The birds all flutter freely,
Without a single care.
The world is less unseemly,
When looked at from up there.

Nature yet retains its hope,
Despite the disarray.
Perhaps, we too, should let things go,
Perhaps it's no charade.

It seems at once so near,
And yet so hard to grasp.
But I know I'm standing here,
And it's but a piece of glass.
