Wow, I'm in a mega-good mood today. Many reasons...
1. We had re-auditions for Babes in Arms for when we take it to Scotland and I got Bunny again! *dances* Allegedly because no one else could handle the vocals...even Haley. And I know it sounds horrid, but I was in her shadow for 3 years and I've finally bested her at a SINGING role, in an ALTO range. So, I'm phyched. w00t!
2. We got LotR today (duh) but I was walking through the living room when mum was watching Steward of Gondor, well just prior and I sat my butt down to watch (I'd been playing D&D, we'd been in the middle of a really big battle) But at any rate, I sat my butt down and she made the comment that I sounded almost just like the movie when i sang it in Saturday. So that was really, really cool. Well that would be an 'almost' providing the fact that you leave out the fact that I'm a soprano...Rofl. But I got the haunting part of it down according to most people I've talk to. =) Civics center has a great reverb effect!
3. We played D&D and we got LotR. Good things on their own. =)
5. We're going to the Renaissance Festival on saturday! So that means all sorts of cool stuff for Meg due to the fact that we're going as an 'early birthday present'. That and the fact that I have all sorts of money from graduation...
So yes, today is good. I am a very happy Meg. *dance*
