Jul. 26th, 2004 08:30 am*chuckles* Had an intersting ride yesterday...
Was going along on pony in a nice canter when suddenly...He falls down. Now this would not be a problem if he were horse sized because I could get my balance and hold us both up. But NOPE! He's got this itty little neck and I just soared right over it and skidded along the ground. Look back to see pony on the ground as well. One of those time when the first thing you think is "WTF?"
Sorta like the Kangaroos in 'End of the World..'
*slaps self for very bad allusion*
But at any rate, that was interesting. I'm now sporting a scrape on one elbow and both heels of my hands are slightly bruised. But I'm better off than pony, he's sporting a scrape over his eye and on both knees. One of em is pretty big. Poor little fella..
Off to the barn to ride again!
