So today's my last day in the 'Boro for a week and a half or so. I have to go home A- to see my family (which I am looking forward to) and B- to get my wisdom teeth pulled out (which I am very much NOT looking forward to).
Otherwise! Last night after I FINALLY GOT OFF WORK I went out to the movies to see Golden Compass. In which I was rather disappointed. My opinion? The books are 23985253 times better and they pulled a major Two Towers there at the end where they ENDED IN THE WRONG SPOT. As the credits rolled I literally squeaked "WHAT?!" Yeah. If they hadn't done that, though I understand why they WOULD, I would have liked it more. It just messed with the plotline too much and the wonderful aspects of the books' surprising storytelling nature and didn't dazzle me enough to make up for it. Oh well.
So we (Steph and I) came back here, watched the rest of Emma, watched Elizabethtown, made a 2 am run to Walmart where we ended up ducking the cleaning machines, laughing at how DEAD the place was and buying chocolate, then popped in Mary Poppins at which point I realized that nine hours of wok followed by nine hours of slowly nursing my drinks (really didn't have much, considering the time span) made me very, very sleepy and I conked out in the middle of the movie.
And I've been up a grand total of 30 minutes now. Go me. Need to get packed up and start for Augusta soon. Wah, productivity.
