asjkhdkasjhdasd still sick

themegalooRight. So I've spent the last TWO WEEKS getting over a cold [or possibly a mild flu, I dunno] and I was really getting better, right?
HA. Well. Yesterday I felt like crap ALL. DAY. LONG. And I was fairly certain by the end of it that I had a fever. And I was coughing like mad. And my entire body was hurting. And all I wanted to do was sleep. :| NOT ON.
So, today I caved when I STILL felt crappy and went to the voodoo hut. [ie, campus health services.] And it was almost funny in a way. They start out by making you sign in, then you go back and do thinks like temperature and blood pressure and weight and stuff. Well, after that, they wouldn't LET me go back in the waiting area, which is the usual sort of thing. I had a 102.9 temp [sadhakjsdh], I think my blood pressure was low [by the way the doctor looked at the numbers at least] and I was really pale. So I got to sit in that little office for a bit, drinking an ENTIRE BOTTLE of powerade they gave me [apparently I was a bit dehydrated too. aksjdhkjsahd] and then they send me to the NEXT little room which is to draw blood. I HATE THAT. SO MUCH HATE. And theeeeen they put me in a special little waiting area with only two chairs off in a corner. So then I go to the doctor-doctor's office after a few minutes and she takes one look at my arms and writes a prescription for some steriod cream for them, then checks out my ears. Then looks at the bloodwork when it shows up. Says it's not quite conclusive and sticks a Q tip up my nose for the "flu test." That, my friends, was highly unpleasant. Annnnd it came back positive. Lovely. So then they put me off in ANOTHER corner and the doctor lady actually takes my prescriptions down to the prescription window FOR me. And then she gets the prescription people to come to ME.
Apparently I am highly contagious.
So, I walked out of there with four prescriptions. One for the flu, one for body aches, one for my scaley arms, and one marvelous cough syrup that tastes awful but really WORKS.
And I'm not ALLOWED to go to class. I have a note. -____- And I don't think I can go to Miami for the show now either. And I didn't go to the Equestrian Team meeting. And I didn't go riding. And aksjad. It sucks. I hate being sick. I have, however, been sleeping a WHOLE LOT. Which is good. :D
