Lol. I finished it last night. Well, sorta this morning because it was 4:15 AM, but I hadn't gone to sleep. I had every intention of finishing it today until I got an IM from a friend telling me she 'needed a support group' and I was all like- wtf HAPPENS?! So, I read like, a whole lot. XD

I think my already-fast speed doubled in the last 50 pages.

I sorta figured that Dubledore would be the one to die when we saw his shrivelled hand. But Oh MY GOD. Totally didn't expect Snape to be the one to do it.

However, Snape's hysterics and the Vow and how he was going on about his own spells being turned against him...

I am like, kicking myself for not thinking about Snape when we realized how good the Prince was at Potions.

But, omg, do we have three sides-of-sorts fighting now? Just to whom does Snape owe allegiance? He seems a bit of a loner now. I really, really want to know what he's going to do. REALLY. He facinates me more than ever now.

Draco turned out a bit interesting too, being unable to kill Dumbledore himself, will Voldemort punish him for that? Will he stay loyal to Voldemort? Will Harry honor Dumbledore's offer of protection to the Malfoys since he was the only one to witness it?

Fandom-wise, he have evidence for Harry/Ginny. We have more leads towards Hermione/Ron (will they EVER get on with it?!) and proof fo Bill Fleur. Then...hints of Remus/Tonks, which doesn't totally knock Remus/Sirius out of a backstory...What else? Actual descriptions of Smith and Zambini, knowledge that Draco is tall, not short...verification for the horrid nickname of 'Cissy'...Lol. Funny stuff, IMO.

Crack!fic about Slughorn is going to run rampant. Just lookit his NAME. Add a y. What fun. XD

More seriously, she's just opened herself up to write more books, yanno? Because it's not going to follow just the seven years of Harry's schooling, because he isn't finishing. I think that's rather interesting. Highly unexpected.

I'd wager that the Minister is going to try and instate a new headmaster. Ew, hope it's not Umbridge.

Did you notice that Snape's gone right as he got the DADA job? I thought Dumbledore talking about how no one had stayed on since he refused the post to Voldemort was facinating. I loved all that backstory too. I think Dumbledore was trying to pass on his knowledge because he knew that he might die soon. He'd expereinced his mortality with the first Horocrux. Which is a facinating concept.

Which brings me to the thing that is KILLING ME HERE. Who in the hells is R.A.B?

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. I'd rank the books as far as my favorites go as "3 - 6 - 1 - 5 - 4 - 2". It was a good read, quick. Lots of information and character. I think the characters really are starting to grow up. I enjoyed it a lot.

And I have typed FAR too much.

Also, considering discontinuing f-only. No real reason.

R.A.B. = Regulus A. Black?
As for Snape, he needs to die.
I also think JK is going to stick with the seven books, though. She's said so herself quite a few times and I don't think it like her to deviate. So that means book seven's going to be intense.

Ooooh, I hadn't made that connection yet!

Yes, what the hell is going on with Snape, anyway? *flails*

I think that's why Dumbledore wouldn't let him have that job, he knew that it would mean somethign would happen and he'd lose Snape.

I really do think, with that in mind, that Dumbledore knew what was going to happen. I think Snape told him about Draco's mission and that if Craco did not succeed, that he'd have to kill Dumbledore himself.

It really does make a bit of sense. And Dumbledore wasn't looking for a DADA prof, but Potions. He was doing that after the Unbreakable Vow stuff. So- Snape told him, and Dumbledore knew he was going to die, likely at Snape's hand. It almost seemed like he WANTED it to be Snape instead of Draco. He asked for Snape. He was LOOKING for Snape. I think somehow he knew that if he could stop get Draco talking, then he'd back out and Snape would have to do it.

He knew Snape wouldn't be staying at Hogwarts, anyways.

I'm rambling and that mess followed no order, but what it boils down to is that I think Dumbledore knew a lot more than he was letting on. He knew about the plan. He knew about Snape. HE KNEW. So, yeah.

I don't think Snape's evil.
