Drabble meme...because I'm either brave or stupid

Every person on your f-list gets to request a drabble (real drabble: 100 words exactly) from you. In return, they have to post this in their journal and write a drabble for you. Post all fandoms you're willing to write for. Your friends can pick a relationship, a story arc, a missing scene, or pretty much anything they want, unless the author has previously mentioned that they will not write it. They comment with what they want, and you write drabbles and post it in your LiveJournal.

Newt’s parents were quite pleased. They’d finally found something that Newt could play with for hours and not cause a blackout anywhere.

At least not anywhere they knew of.

While the blackouts were a wonderful sign of Newt’s brilliance, the electricians never seemed to agree. They were rather miffed when the traced a mass power outage in New York City to the bedroom of fifteen-year-old Newt Pulsifer.

In fact, they’d been downright livid about the whole ordeal.

So they’d gone through the stores, looking for something that could keep Newt occupied without causing disasters.

They bought him a Rubik’s cube.

They say the apple never really falls all that far from the tree, so it really wasn’t all the surprising that Chibi Usa was running through the streets of Crystal Tokyo, late for something or another, ‘what’ didn’t particularly matter.

What did matter was the fact that she was late and when one is late, things tend to jump in one’s way…

Particularly people.

Alright, so maybe it wasn’t particularly common for the near-grown princess to crash into someone. But sometimes fate makes people do strange things.

Lucky thing that Elios caught her. And greeted her with a long-awaited kiss.

Making pancakes unsupervised had been a Very Bad Idea. Especially since two sixteen-year-old wizards would be required to clean up the mess the “muggle way” during the summer months.

That might be part of the reason that they did not, indeed, clean up, and decided, apparently, that they would be more comfortable without their soiled clothing and were found lying naked on the floor of the destroyed kitchen of Sirius’s flat by James when he stopped by that morning.

He decided that asking about the swollen lips and bite marks would be a bad idea. He didn’t want to know.

“Well, one of us must have the fault, lest we have nothing to talk about. And I’m not green. With envy or like that disgusting green slime.”

Bermuda Triangle!

Today was a good day for the prisoners of Azkaban. The dementors were fairly occupied and they were free momentarily from their madness. Though sometimes that made the return onslaught even worse in comparison.

The Ministry of Magic had worked out a deal with the Muggle World centuries ago about the placement of Azkaban Prison. It was in the middle of the ocean with several charms to keep it off their maps and tracking devices confused.

It wasn’t the Ministry’s fault that the muggles had forgotten about the agreement with the invention of airplanes. The dementors were happy at least.

“Sirius, no—no more chocolate. No child should consume that much. He’s going to get fat you continue!” Remus was at his wit’s end trying to teach Sirius to be a decent parent. It just didn’t seem to be possible.

“But Moooony! He’s not fat now and he was so skinny when we took him from that horrid fat muggle. Anyways, you eat a lot of chocolate! So why shouldn’t he?” Sirius grinned and popped another piece into Harry’s eager mouth.

“My chocolate eating habits are horrible and….mmph!”

Remus ceased the argument when Sirius kissed him.

“Horrible is tasty though.”

I think you're missing the word "if" in this sentence, though--

They say there’s a fine, fine line between love and hate, but in this case, the two boys had looked to be firmly on the side of ‘hate’. It just didn’t make sense. It was unthinkable.

Just yesterday wands had been dropped and fists were flying. What changed? Something certainly had. The room looked like a tornado hit it, things were flung everywhere.

But there was a pair of boxers dangling from the wall sconce and blonde hair mingled with red on the pillow, tanned and freckled limbs tangled with perfect creamy white.

Harry was stunned, to say the least.
