A few things!

Firstly, I finally remembered the other amusing story I had intended to relate yesterday:

So, for like, ALL OF LAST YEAR, including the summer, I lived on the third floor, backside of the building. Well, back as in "the side not facing campus," because if you're ON that side it would seem to be the front and all, but for simplicity's sake, I'm calling it the backside of the building

Then a few weeks ago I moved to the SECOND floor on the [relative] frontside of the SAME building. [Not sharing space with so many people so it's smaller and I like it <3 Plus my roommate? Completely fabulous. Only awkward point is the ex-boyfriend across the hall who FLEES, apparently, when he seens me. =/]

So yesterday, walking in from class, etc, so on, so forth, dullness, listening to music and then....then I realize I'm five steps from the third floor on the [relative] backside of the building!

So, naturally, I face palm and waltz around the third floor and go down the steps next to my room. I know, it's not a thrilling story in the least, but I know some people will want to taunt me with it at least!

Other Notable Happenings:
1. Look at my previous entry. Look at the number of comments [currently 167]. I have -never in my life- had that many comments to a post in my LJ. Ever. My inbox? It died. I have it going through Thunderbird, checking like, every minute, I believe for that account and I was getting comment notifications in groups of between 4 and 6 every few minutes for a while. I loved it! *amused*
2. I do solemnly swear not to call Matt adorable.
3. Does anyone know where I can find jeans with like, striped [via seams] pant legs?
4. ...brain died. I swear there was more. Why does this always happen to me?! *headdesk*

1. I have a bad tendancy to forget it exists, actually, and not update for months.

2. Well, I wouldn't have said that if I'd planned to. If I get it into my head that you simply must be teased, I'll come up with something else.

3. Oh, they'll know. Considering the fact that I am a girl and not one prone to dressing as you do. Also, it's because it's something I'm pretty certain no one else will do! I mean, do you know how many people dress up as a pirate or a fairy or, well, Batman? Even the President of the United States. I'm being creative.

1. I'm technically online 24/7, but as for whether or not I'm here and paying attention, that's entirely another story. *chuckles*

2. Yes, well. I'm don't mean to be! It's just. What I do. My entirely family is prone to taunting and picking like that. All meant in good humor. We only pick on teh oens we rather like. ;)

1. Yes, well, I must say I prefer other forums to LJ, but I've never encountered anything like this "alternate realities" thing anywhere else and I think it's worth investigating.

1. Yes, it's been a few of those that tend to get me side-tracked. It's really quite shocking that I've been keeping up with LJ lately. I suppose similarly, the idea that people from a world not my own are commenting in here is rather a strong drawing point.

*grins* Okay, so a lesser-celebrity so far. But they're getting geared up to make an anime out of it right now, from what I gather.

And there's a pretty big fanbase online from what I've seen. Good number of communities with like, fanfiction, fanart, news, etc.

Haha, well I can't draw people either. Really, the only time I ever pick up a pen is to doodle a rough sketch of whatever I plan to make, so I don't screw it up.

Give me a ruler, pencil and a good sized eraser and I can manage something like that alright. People and landscapes and shit, that's just entirely too complicated for me. Too many little details. I mean, seriously props to anyone who CAN do that, and I will sit and stare in wonder, but for me? There is simply no way.

I like to think that I'm a pretty alright writer, and considering that I'm an English major in college, I hope I'm not deluding myself because otherwise term papers are going to kick my ass and laugh at me as I'm sitting on the ground.

*smirks* ONe of my good friends used to call me "dragon lady" because I came in with a new book about dragons just about every three days. Which is a bit sad, honestly.
