A few things!

Firstly, I finally remembered the other amusing story I had intended to relate yesterday:

So, for like, ALL OF LAST YEAR, including the summer, I lived on the third floor, backside of the building. Well, back as in "the side not facing campus," because if you're ON that side it would seem to be the front and all, but for simplicity's sake, I'm calling it the backside of the building

Then a few weeks ago I moved to the SECOND floor on the [relative] frontside of the SAME building. [Not sharing space with so many people so it's smaller and I like it <3 Plus my roommate? Completely fabulous. Only awkward point is the ex-boyfriend across the hall who FLEES, apparently, when he seens me. =/]

So yesterday, walking in from class, etc, so on, so forth, dullness, listening to music and then....then I realize I'm five steps from the third floor on the [relative] backside of the building!

So, naturally, I face palm and waltz around the third floor and go down the steps next to my room. I know, it's not a thrilling story in the least, but I know some people will want to taunt me with it at least!

Other Notable Happenings:
1. Look at my previous entry. Look at the number of comments [currently 167]. I have -never in my life- had that many comments to a post in my LJ. Ever. My inbox? It died. I have it going through Thunderbird, checking like, every minute, I believe for that account and I was getting comment notifications in groups of between 4 and 6 every few minutes for a while. I loved it! *amused*
2. I do solemnly swear not to call Matt adorable.
3. Does anyone know where I can find jeans with like, striped [via seams] pant legs?
4. ...brain died. I swear there was more. Why does this always happen to me?! *headdesk*

Give me a ruler, pencil and a good sized eraser and I can manage something like that alright. People and landscapes and shit, that's just entirely too complicated for me. Too many little details. I mean, seriously props to anyone who CAN do that, and I will sit and stare in wonder, but for me? There is simply no way.

I like to think that I'm a pretty alright writer, and considering that I'm an English major in college, I hope I'm not deluding myself because otherwise term papers are going to kick my ass and laugh at me as I'm sitting on the ground.

I don't write. I hated the papers I had to do, but I haven't had to do one in years now, so I don't mind too much anymore. :D

hahaa, lucky you then. I've got a few years left of them still. And probably a lifetime of attempting to publish them. Oh, what a facinating life I'll lead. Though I really do enjoy it. *shrugs* I'm a bit odd like that. Big sucker for poetry and such.

I've played a few games, but generally I'm utter crap at them. Good god, I'm useless, aren't I? *laughs*

I'm decent at puzzle games. And strangely, Guild Wars. Which I play highly infrequently these days.

I haven't played Guild Wars in years, and puzzle games are okay one time through. After I solve them once, though, they're no good to pick up again. I prefer shooters. :D

And you see, shooters are where I run into trouble. Me + Aiming = Not Good.

It's 2010 for me; that game is practically ancient. Is it not that year for you? I seem to be talking to someone from the Fuedal Era of Japan...no idea how she got her hands on a computer.

And shooters taught me how to shoot. You hook yourself up to the VR setup and you're good to go. :D

Aw, well that sucks for you! They're still really new for me, too, though--I actually got my hands on some technology that hasn't been officially released yet.

Heh, I'm good. Lord knows I don't need the distractions game provide. I have a hard enough time convincing myself to do my homework. gah.

And see? At least I have some concept of it. Even if I'm no good at it! *amused* The whole time period thing is...odd, to say the least.

I thought all piled up like that they might be a bit lumpy though. And of course I do. Mine are just neatly put somewhere NOT my bed. And, alas, I am not from the future and don't wear goggles all the time, so I haven't got nearly so many as you. ;)

Well, I generally sleep in a bed. Or on a couch. The floor just...isn't so very comfortable. And why sleep on it when there's a bed available, unless he has a room but no bed? *tilts head*
